Hello

I have a pair of Oberwerk 12x36x70 Zoom binoculars, about 5 years old. They have recently developed double vision. I see the same image twice. This happens even when fully centered. The problem disappears if I close either eye.

Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the objectives, prisms, or both have come out of collimation and need to be re-aligned.  Could be an issue with the zoom mechanism too, but you won't know until you get inside them.  If they are 5 years old, you probably need to send them to Kevin for service.

Hi Kieran,
The binocular needs to be aligned (collimated).  You should try to do the adjustment yourself, take a look at this-

If that doesn't work, we can take care of it.
